Please don't remove aumix.  It's nice to be able to use it in quick 
scripts, like "aumix -v+3" increases volume by 3 percent on the master 
volume control.  alsamixer does duplicate the ncurses volume adjustment, 
but doesn't let you adjust the volume unless you do it interactively.
