Yes, I did it already, but with no success.

With the current version I get this output

$ cinnamon-screensaver
/usr/share/cinnamon-screensaver/cinnamon-screensaver-main.py:63:

Themes, I installed, are the following:
community/numix-themes 2.6.5-1
aur/cinnamon-theme-numix-git r88.0227932-1
aur/numix-circle-icon-theme-git 0.r3.3773866-1
aur/numix-cursor-theme-git r32.e92186d-1
aur/numix-themes-green 2.6.5-1 [installed]

So I tried it with the default theme of cinnamon. The output is the
following:
$ cinnamon-screensaver
Cinnamon Screensaver support not found in current theme - adding some...
Trying to connect to logind...
Starting screensaver...
Successfully using logind
